Job Overview Flat Roofer
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Flat Roofer to join our construction team. Duties Flat Roofer
- Install, repair, and maintain flat roofing systems using appropriate materials and techniques
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation
- Operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment to facilitate installation processes
- Use carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and other construction skills as required during roofing projects
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or defects in roofing structures
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times
Experience Flat Roofer
- Proven experience in roofing, construction, or related trades such as carpentry or masonry
- Knowledge of schematics, welding techniques, and fabrication processes is desirable
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised roofing equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation or repair tasks
- Experience working with plumbing or masonry is advantageous but not essential
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to roofing work
