We are seeking a dedicated and experienced qualified Audit Senior, with solid UK experience to join our client's dynamic audit team in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. You Must be able to lead an audit from start to finish and oversee juniors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead audits from inception through to completion, taking responsibility for the full audit cycle and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. As a key member of the team, you will be managing the entire audit process, including planning, execution, and review, while liaising with clients to gather necessary information and providing valuable insights into internal controls and financial accuracy. The role requires independent leadership in conducting audits, supervising junior staff, and delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines. You will have the right to work in the UK as this role does not offer sponsorship.
- Extensive experience in managing full-cycle audits and leading audit engagements .
- Ability to plan, execute, and review audits efficiently and effectively and oversee juniors
- Proficient understanding of auditing software such as CCH, Audit Automate, and Data Snipper is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, with experience in liaising with clients and internal teams
- Experience in analysing financial statements for anomalies and regulatory compliance
- Capability to assist with complex and high-risk audit areas and finalising audit files for review
- Experience in preparing statutory accounts and performing year-end stock counts
- An understanding of industry and client systems to effectively determine testing strategies
