Contract Data Architect – Retail
Opus have partnered with a leading Tech Consultancy to support them in their need for a seasoned Data Architect with recent domain knowledge gained within the retail sector. You'll be supporting on a major programme of work focused on the end-to-end implementation of Blue Yonder, a supply chain management system / solution.
Pay Rate: £575 per day, Outside IR35
On-site Presence: 2 days per week in London Offices
Project Length: 6 months (program scope likely to yield extension after this)
Start Date: ASAP
Contractor Specification:
- Proven (6+ years') contracting experience as a Data Architect / Senior Data Architect
- Minimum of 2 (ideally recent) years' of retail project / programme experience
- Strong retail supply chain related experience
- Deep understanding of WMS (warehouse management systems)
- Strong implementation expertise with a broad, modern tech stack
- Excellent stakeholder management with proven experience collaborating with developers, engineers and platform engineers to refine LLDs as part of the delivery lifecycle
- Ability to influence suppliers and engineers to make implementation suggestions and recommendations
Nice to have:
- Experience with Blue Yonder, ideally, you'll have been instrumental working on the end-to-end implementation.
