Description

  • Provide support across a range of HR functions, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Deliver day-to-day HR administration and employee support.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems as required.
  • Support payroll-related activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Provide advice and guidance to staff on HR-related queries and policies.
  • Support the delivery of learning and development initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and analyse HR data to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with managers and departments to ensure the smooth delivery of HR services.

Profile

A successful HR Officer should have:

  • Previous experience in a human resources role within the public sector or a similar environment.
  • A strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and software.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.

Job Offer

  • An hourly rate of £24.37 PAYE or £31.64 Umbrella
  • Hybrid working (minimum of two days per week onsite).
