Salary: up to £40k per annum depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Lifting Engineer – The Role:

Lifting Engineer – What’s in it for you?

Lifting Engineer – Key Responsibilities:
– Testing and inspecting equipment to ensure it meets the highest safety and quality standards
– Maintaining and preparing equipment for hire, making sure it’s always ready for customers
– Conducting on-site inspections and troubleshooting for customers and helping with breakdowns when needed
– Dismantling and repairing faulty components, bringing your technical expertise to the forefront
– Assisting with deliveries and collections as required
– Keeping our workshop safe, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations
– This list isn't exhaustive, and you may be called upon for additional duties as needed
– This is not your typical 9-to-5 – you’ll gain hands-on experience and have the chance to take on new challenges as you grow with us
Lifting Engineer – You:
– Demonstrable experience inspecting, maintaining and repairing lifting equipment or plant machinery in a professional setting
– Relevant qualifications — a LEEA-accredited qualification or diploma in lifting equipment engineering is highly desirable
– Strong working knowledge of LOLER, PUWER and applicable industry standards
– Attention to detail: You’ll take pride in ensuring all work is of the highest quality, identifying issues and solving problems efficiently
– A proactive attitude: You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment and taking ownership of tasks
– Experience is a plus, but not essential: If you have experience diagnosing and repairing lifting equipment or plant machinery, fantastic! If not, we’re happy to train the right candidate
– You'll also need a clean UK driving license to carry out site visits and occasional deliveries. If you don’t have certain certifications like a forklift truck license, don’t worry – we can provide training for those too
