Time Appointments are currently recruiting on behalf of a niche business based in Ipswich, who are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative to drive business sales.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound telephone calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients, identifying decision-makers and qualifying opportunities
- Develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers to maximise sales opportunities.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and convert opportunities into new business
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey from initial enquiry through to completion
- Consistently achieve and exceed new business and revenue targets
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven success in a business development, sales, or outbound prospecting role
- Demonstrable experience of generating new business and achieving sales targets
- Confident making outbound calls and engaging with senior decision-makers
- Self-motivated, resilient, and driven by achieving results.
- Strong negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment, with a strong determination to succeed.
