You'll work within a modern production environment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and maximise plant performance.
The business is one of the UK's leading manufacturers within the timber processing and engineered wood products sector, supplying materials to the construction industry while continuing to invest in renewable energy and sustainable manufacturing.
Offering a Monday to Friday rotating shift pattern and excellent overtime opportunities, this position is ideal for an engineer looking to develop their career within a stable, expanding organisation.
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across production machinery and plant equipment.
- Diagnose faults, complete repairs and carry out mechanical overhauls to minimise downtime.
- Support continuous improvement activities to improve plant reliability and production efficiency.
- Monday to Friday rotating shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-11:00pm.
The Person
- Qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Fitter or similar mechanical engineering background.
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial, heavy engineering, processing or agricultural environments.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
