Salary: £36,684 – £40,212 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, temporary, 1 year fixed term

Communications Officer – The Role:
You will take a lead on implementing communication strategies that engage, excite, inform and inspire, taking responsibility for communicating key corporate announcements. This is an exciting and key new role supporting the delivery of some of Braintree District Council's key projects. You will work with stakeholders to ensure messages are clear, compelling and reach the right audiences at the right time.
Communications Officer – Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the implementation of corporate communication strategies across the organisation
– Develop and deliver key corporate announcements and communications
– Support the delivery of council projects through strategic communications planning
– Work effectively with stakeholders to understand needs and ensure alignment
Communications Officer – You:
– Proven experience in corporate communications with excellent communication and project management skills
– Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational abilities
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with a proactive and flexible approach
