The Opportunity
As an Operations Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the successful planning and delivery of a portfolio of large-scale events. Acting as a key point of contact for exhibitors, sponsors, contractors, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure exceptional service standards while supporting the seamless execution of events from planning through to on-site delivery.
This role offers excellent long-term progression for someone looking to establish a career within the events industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for exhibitors and event stakeholders.
- Deliver professional and timely customer support via phone and email.
- Coordinate exhibitor communications and logistical information throughout the event lifecycle.
- Manage exhibitor, contractor, and event databases.
- Support the production of exhibitor manuals and event documentation.
- Maintain and update floorplans, event inventories, and operational systems.
- Assist with purchase orders, supplier coordination, and administrative processes.
- Support on-site event operations, including managing organiser offices where required.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, freight logistics, and venue research.
- Build strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, venues, and international suppliers.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
