The Role
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you'll play a key role in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time while supporting the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Resolving supplier queries efficiently
- Preparing payment runs
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Supporting continuous improvements within the AP function
Profile
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills
- Confidence working with finance systems and Excel
- A proactive and positive approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues
Job Offer
- An annual salary equivalent of £28,000 – £35,000 depending on experience.
