First Response Group is seeking a motivated Trainee CCTV Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long term career within the security and surveillance industry.
As a Trainee CCTV Engineer, you will receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience working alongside skilled engineers across a range of security solutions. This includes fixed CCTV installations, temporary CCTV towers, and solar- and battery-powered surveillance systems.
During your initial training period, you will learn the fundamentals of installation, maintenance, and fault-finding. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you will progress to independently installing and maintaining our temporary CCTV solutions before moving on to more advanced fixed CCTV and integrated security systems.
A company van will be provided, and upon successful completion of your training, you will be expected to work independently while remaining fully supported by our wider engineering team.
This role is ideally suited to a reliable, self-motivated individual with a practical, hands-on approach and a strong willingness to learn. You should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and keen to develop new technical skills. Previous experience within CCTV, security systems, electrical work, or a related field would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

About the Role
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of temporary and fixed CCTV systems.
Support senior engineers with planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
Install and maintain temporary CCTV towers, including solar and battery-powered solutions.
Carry out basic fault finding and troubleshooting on CCTV and security equipment.
Ensure all installations are completed safely and to company standards.
Travel to customer sites across the UK as required.
Complete installation and maintenance reports accurately and on time.
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Provide excellent customer service while representing First Response Group professionally.
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
Essential:
Full UK driving licence.
Practical and hands-on approach to work.

Flexibility to travel and work at various locations.
