We are seeking an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership during a pivotal period of growth and transformation. This is a broad, hands-on executive role with end-to-end responsibility spanning Finance, Data & Analytics, Technology, and Product Development.
You will partner closely with the senior leadership team to drive operational excellence, strengthen financial controls, and support data-driven decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities -Lead all finance functions including financial planning & analysis, treasury, tax, audit, and reporting -Oversee Data & Analytics, ensuring insights inform commercial and operational strategy -Provide executive sponsorship for Technology and Product Development teams -Deliver timely, accurate management and statutory reporting to the Board and stakeholders -Drive process improvement, system enhancements, and scalable financial infrastructure -Support strategic initiatives, M&A activity, and investor relations as required -Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across all areas of responsibility
Essential
-Proven track record in multiple interim CFO engagements, ideally within complex or fast-moving environments -Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) -Strong commercial acumen with experience partnering at Board level -Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across Finance, Technology, and Data -Excellent communication skills and executive presence -Hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to operate strategically and tactically
Highly Desirable
Experience with Joint Venture accounting structures and governance Background in retail, sourcing, or consumer goods sectors Familiarity with transformation programmes
