A fantastic opportunity has become available for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Provision Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets. This full-time, long-term role is available for a September start and offers a competitive daily rate of £95 to £115, depending on experience. The school is seeking a passionate individual who is committed to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within a specialist provision.

The Role – SEN Provision Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Provision Teaching Assistant, you will be working within the school's specialist provision, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and therapists to provide tailored support that enables pupils to access learning and make meaningful progress.
The role will involve supporting pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups, delivering targeted interventions, implementing personalised learning strategies, and promoting pupils' communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing. You will also support sensory activities, behaviour management, and, where required, personal care, ensuring every child receives the highest level of support throughout the school day.
The successful candidate will be patient, resilient, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for SEND. The school is looking for someone who can work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and make a positive contribution to the provision and the wider school community.
