We are looking for an experienced CNC Turning Setter/Operator to join our skilled machining team, producing high precision components from billets and castings for our products serving a variety of industries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operatingCNC turning centres with Fanuc controls, producing high quality, close tolerance components efficiently and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC turning centres with Fanuc controls
- Manufacturing high precision components from billets and castings
- Reading and interpreting metric engineering drawings
- Machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials
- Selecting and using appropriate cutting tools and tooling technology
- Monitoring and adjusting machining processes to maintain quality and productivity
- Self-inspection of components using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, callipers, gauges and CMM.
- Working to tight tolerances while meeting quality and production targets
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Time served apprentice or fully trained CNC Turner
- Proven experience setting, operating and controlling CNC lathes
- Experience machining precision components
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Experience working with a range of engineering materials
- Competent using precision measuring equipment
Desirable:
- Basic CNC programming knowledge
- Experience using CMM inspection equipment
Candidates must be able to obtain BPSS clearance and should have the right to work in the UK.

- Permanent full-time position £18.50/hour, 39 hours
- Monday to Friday day shift 08:00 -16:30 (Fri 08:00-15:30)
- Early finish every Friday
- Overtime available at enhanced rates OT @ 1.25
