A fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Westminster are on the hunt for Aspiring Physics Teacher for an ASAP start. This is a full time, and permanent post. Please note, the salary is based upon experience & on a scale.
You will be working across the Physics Department, supporting KS3-4 lessons, while having a focus on attainment & the quality of learning. This is the perfect opportunity if you're an aspiring Physics Teacher looking to gain experience before enrolling onto teacher training.
The Head Teacher would ideally like a Physics Graduate with any of the following Physics related degrees:

You will have the opportunity to enrol onto a Salaried Schools Direct opportunity via the Secondary School either starting September 2026 or 2027.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Aspiring Physics Teacher Program
- Secondary Teaching Assistant (Subject dependent)
- Working across KS3-5 with a focus on raising attainment
- Carrying out GCSE & A Level interventions
- Enrolling onto the Aspiring Physics Teacher Program (Schools Direct)
- ASAP, Jan or April 2026 – Full Time & Permanent
- £27,500 – £36,500 permanent contract (Paid on a scale depending on experience)
- Located in the Borough of Westminster
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Must have a desirable degree from the above subjects from a reputable University
- Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
- Must be confident within your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum
- You must be able to engage and motivate the students
- Commitment and ambition to succeed is key throughout!
