Maintenance Technician (Temporary)

Reed is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician in Andover for a temporary 2-week assignment starting Thursday, 16th July. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will support a workplace improvement project involving the removal and replacement of warehouse racking, alongside the relocation of stock and materials.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Dismantling and removing existing warehouse racking.
- Assisting with the installation and positioning of new racking.
- Relocating stock and materials from old racking to new locations.
- Carrying out general maintenance and facilities support tasks as required.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
- Supporting the Facilities Manager throughout the project.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Practical hands-on experience within maintenance, facilities, warehouse, or similar environments.
- Comfortable undertaking manual handling and physical work.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available to start on Thursday, 16th July and commit to the full 2-week assignment.
