The Role
As an Associate, you will:
- Take ownership of execution workstreams across live M&A mandates (sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory).
- Lead and review financial modelling – including operating models, DCF, LBO, and merger analysis.
- Manage Analysts day-to-day, overseeing valuation work, due diligence, and client materials.
- Drive the preparation of client deliverables – pitch books, IMs, management presentations, and board materials.
- Interact directly with clients, advisors, and management teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Contribute to origination efforts, supporting senior bankers with sector coverage, pitches, and market intelligence.
What We're Looking For
- 3-6 years of investment banking experience, ideally with exposure to Infrastructure, Energy, or Power & Utilities M&A at a bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier European bank.
- Strong track record of executing live transactions end-to-end.
- Excellent technical foundation – M&A, LBO, and DCF modelling, valuation, and structuring.
- Sector interest and knowledge across one or more infrastructure sub-sectors (digital, energy transition, transport, utilities).
- Strong client-facing skills, commercial mindset, and ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure.
- Strong academic background; MBA/CFA a plus but not required.
