Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education? Engage Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Southwark.

Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to begin your career in education, we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting students in and out of the classroom.
  • Assisting teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons.
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support where required.
  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Encouraging students to reach their full potential.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or you must be willing to process one through Engage Education at a cost of £54.70.
