Our client, Leicester City Council, is seeking an agency social worker for its Adult Mental Health team.
This role will last 3 months initially and is paid at £34 umbrella.
One day per week in the office.
The role will involve the following:
- Assessments under the Care Act
- Care planning and support
- Safeguarding
- Multi agency working
- Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity work
- Complete Best Interest Decisions
- Residential reviews
- Covering team duty
- Eligibility assessments
- Hosp discharge
- S117 meetings
- Strength based assessments

Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Fully Social Work England registered
- Must have significant post-qualified experience in adult social care
- Ideal candidate will have some experience of working with adults with mental health conditions
