KennedyPearce are hiring a strategic Commercial Finance Business Partner to act as the trusted finance advisor to senior leadership, driving commercial performance, profitability, and data-led decision making. This role partners closely with executive stakeholders across Revenue and Digital functions, providing financial insight, commercial challenge, and strategic support to enable sustainable growth. Working 2-3 days in the London office with a generous pension and bonus on offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead commercial finance partner for senior stakeholders across Revenue and Digital functions.
- Provide financial insight, performance analysis, and commercial recommendations to improve profitability and margins.
- Support business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly business reviews.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, pricing strategies, and revenue quality metrics.
- Evaluate growth initiatives, investment cases, and AI programmes to ensure strong commercial returns.
- Drive adoption of AI and data-driven ways of working to improve efficiency and decision making.
- Collaborate with FP&A and wider finance teams to deliver high-quality reporting and financial planning.
- Influence stakeholders to improve commercial performance and support strategic decision making.
- Deliver commercial finance training and promote best practice across the business.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
About You
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- 10+ years' experience in commercial finance or finance business partnering.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of improving profitability and supporting strategic decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Experience partnering with senior commercial or sales leaders.
- Confident using AI-enabled tools (such as Microsoft Copilot) to improve insight and productivity.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Tagetik is desirable.
- Professional Services experience is preferred.
