Design & Technology Teacher – Location: Rugby
Start Date: September 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter)
Contract: Full-Time – Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Rugby area from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role
As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons to secondary-aged students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress effectively.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – highly desirable.
- Have previous UK secondary school teaching experience.
- Be confident teaching Design & Technology across secondary age ranges.
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills.
- Possess excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Have a positive, proactive, and can-do attitude.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
