Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Maternity Cover
We are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly primary school in Burnley on a maternity cover contract.
This exciting role includes delivering high-quality PPA cover across EYFS to Year 5, alongside leading engaging Forest School sessions several times each week. The successful candidate will be confident teaching across a range of age groups, creating positive learning experiences and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
Essential:
-
HLTA qualification (or equivalent recognised qualification)
-
Experience supporting or leading learning in a primary school
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Desirable:
-
Forest School qualification and/or experience leading Forest School

Experience working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
