SENCO & Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Location: North London
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

A rare opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded independent preparatory school in North London as SENCO & Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).

This senior leadership position offers the chance to shape and develop the school's inclusive provision within a warm, nurturing environment where every child is known as an individual. The Role

As SENCO & DSL, you will:

  • Lead and develop SEND provision across the school
  • Manage EHCPs, annual reviews and relationships with external agencies
  • Support teachers with inclusive classroom strategies and targeted interventions
  • Act as the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
  • Lead mental health and wellbeing initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes
