One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Data Science Manager.
Location – Hybrid – Warwickshire / Remote (1 day per week in Warwickshire office)
Salary – £78,000 – 91,000 + 30% bonus + excellent benefits
You will lead a high-performing team while staying hands-on, delivering impactful projects, building AI models, coding, and turning data into clear, actionable insights.
- Demonstrable experience in Data Science
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop Data Scientists, guiding teams to deliver high-quality, impactful work.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement skills, able to work effectively with end users, peers, and senior leaders.
- Fluency in Data Science techniques across statistics, machine learning, and GenAI.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with the ability to build reliable, scalable solutions.
- Experience working in cloud environments on Linux and/or Windows platforms (Azure experience is a plus)
- A strong track record delivering the full lifecycle of Data Science products and projects.
- Experience working within regulated utility environments.
- Experimental design experience and a hypothesis-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with interactive visualisation tools (Power BI a plus).
- Knowledge of GIS tools, such as ArcGIS
Desirable
- Any exposure to highly regulated sectors such as utilities / power / energy / electricity / water / gas / nuclear / financial services / telecoms etc.
