Machine Operative – Coventry (CV6) Duration: Long Term Pay Rate: £15.36 (£31,948 per annum) Shifts: Rotating – Monday to Friday – 6AM-2PM / 2PM-10PM / 10PM-6AM Overtime: Available at premium rates
Empowered Personnel are currently recruiting Machine Operatives for a well established manufacturing company based in Coventry (CV6). This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Machine Operatives looking for a long term, stable position within a fast-paced production environment offering career progression and development opportunities.
Shift Details:
Weekly rotating shifts (Monday to Friday):
o 06AM–2PM o 2PM-10PM o 10PM–6AM
Machine Operative Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation
• Operate and monitor production machinery efficiently as a Machine Operative. • Carry out basic machine maintenance including cleaning and minor adjustments. • Identify and report any equipment faults, breakdowns, or production issues promptly.
Quality Control
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. • Conduct regular quality checks for defects or inconsistencies. • Complete all required quality documentation accurately and on time.
Packing & Despatch
• Prepare, label, and pack products for despatch safely and securely. • Maintain accurate despatch and inventory records.
Machine Operative Requirements:
• Physically fit – able to lift up to 15kg. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
