About the Company: Our client is one of the UK's largest producers and distributors of desserts and speciality foods.
Operating from their Manchester-based manufacturing site, they supply a wide range of fresh and frozen products to customers across the country.
Role Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Packing Operative to join the production team.
This role involves packing cakes and other food products, ensuring they are correctly prepared and presented for dispatch.
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential to maintain product quality and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack cakes and desserts according to company specifications
- Ensure correct labelling and packaging for dispatch
- Follow hygiene and safety procedures at all times
- Carry out additional duties as instructed by the Production Manager
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or packing environment is preferred
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to be flexible with working hours, especially during busy periods
- Full training will be provided
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00. Flexibility is required, as shifts may extend until production is complete.
