Specsavers
If you're a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys turning data, supplier insight and stakeholder needs into real business value, this could be the perfect next step. As a Category Buyer at Specsavers, you'll play a key role in helping us maximise the value of our supplier relationships while supporting our mission to change lives through better sight and hearing.
Working across a broad range of categories, you'll support the development and delivery of category strategies, lead sourcing activities, and help stakeholders identify the best solutions for their needs. From analysing spend and market data to running competitive supplier selection processes, you'll use your procurement expertise to uncover opportunities, reduce risk, and deliver commercial benefits across the business.
You'll be someone who can build trusted relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels. With experience in a broad procurement environment, a strong commercial mindset, and an understanding of contracts and basic contract drafting, you'll be confident negotiating agreements, interpreting data, and translating requirements into effective procurement outcomes. Strong communication skills, curiosity about market trends, and the ability to take ownership of your work are all essential.
In return, you'll join a supportive and collaborative team where your ideas, insight, and influence will make a genuine impact. If you're passionate about procurement, enjoy working with diverse stakeholders, and are excited by the opportunity to help shape category strategies that deliver value across Specsavers, we'd love to hear from you.
