About the Role:

At Richard Nelson LLP, we offer experienced solicitors the opportunity to work as Self-Employed Consultants within fully supported and respected National Law Firm, alongside a team of over 50 Consultant Solicitors. Our commitment to supporting our lawyer’s ambitions and needs, we achieved a lawyer retention rate of 98%.

Who We're Looking For:

We're interested in hearing from Senior Solicitors with strong legal expertise. You must have in-depth post-qualification experience and the ability to manage your own caseload confidently. Ideally a strong client following, minimum of £100,000 per annum or £8,000 a month billing required.

This is an excellent opportunity for Solicitors who want to focus on fee earning and client relationships without the constraints of traditional partnership structures.

Essential Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor with current practising certificate – 5 years PQE Minimum
  • Proven experience within your Specialism/Area of Law
  • Demonstrable track record of successful case outcomes
  • Ability to demonstrate a genuine client following

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent negotiation experience and skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication abilities
  • Strong client care and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a specialist team
  • Efficient time management and organisational skills

Professional Knowledge

  • Thorough understanding of the obligations of working as a solicitor, including ethical responsibilities
  • Knowledge and proficient use of case management systems and IT
