The Opportunity
A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Essex is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual at any stage of their career—from newly qualified solicitors to experienced practitioners—who is looking to develop or further enhance their expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You will handle a varied caseload of private client matters, including:
- Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Estate administration and probate matters
- Trust creation and administration
- Inheritance tax and estate planning
- Court of Protection work (desirable but not essential)
The firm prides itself on delivering a high standard of client care, so you will be confident in building strong client relationships and providing clear, practical advice.
The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from candidates with a range of experience levels. You will ideally:
- Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in private client work
- Have strong technical knowledge (appropriate to your level)
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate a proactive and client-focused approach
