iMultiply is delighted to be supporting a long-established, fast-growing accountancy practice in Glasgow as they look to appoint an Accounts Senior to their Accounting & Business Solutions team.

The Role

As a Accounts Senior you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and support for a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. This is a hands-on, client-facing role offering real variety and the chance to build strong professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual accounts for limited companies, LLPs, and partnerships
  • Prepare and carry out independent examinations for larger charities and trusts
  • Visit client premises where required to deliver on-site support
  • Build and maintain confident, professional relationships with clients
  • Respond to client enquiries promptly, escalating when necessary
  • Support, coach and guide junior team members as part of your day-to-day responsibilities

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings strong technical expertise and enjoys working in a collaborative, people-centric environment.

You will ideally have:

  • ACCA/CA qualification (essential)
  • Strong accounts preparation experience within professional practice
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Confident use of cloud accounting tools such as Xero and Sage
  • Ability to build strong rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Commitment to CPD and keeping technical knowledge up to date
  • Experience with accounts production software (desirable)
  • A proactive approach and ownership mindset
