Are you a skilled culinary leader who takes pride in producing high-quality meals with care, creativity, and consistency? We’re looking for a passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen at Hampton Care Home, where your food will make a meaningful difference to the daily lives of our residents.

Contract details:
- £40,000 per annum
- Daytime hours only, no evenings or late-night finishes (7:30am to 3pm early shift and 9:30am to 5:30pm late shifts on a rota basis)

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Craft Fresh, Nutritious Meals: Prepare, cook, and present hot and cold dishes tailored to residents’ dietary needs.
Menu Planning: Design balanced, seasonal menus with the Group Executive Chef & Home Manager, ensuring great quality within budget.
Lead the Kitchen Team: Supervise and guide staff to maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and organisation.
Train & Develop: Deliver Basic Food Hygiene training and keep your own knowledge up to date.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain accurate stock, temperature, and safety records and uphold high standards in kitchen cleanliness.
Stock & Ordering: Oversee stock rotation, ordering, deliveries, and stock valuations.
Roster Planning: Prepare kitchen rotas for smooth daily operations.
Recruitment: Support interviews for new kitchen team members.
