The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy and professional dealership in Basingstoke. This customer-facing role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced automotive environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
You will act as the key point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring all service and repair work is managed efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and managing vehicle check-ins
- Advising customers on service and repair requirements
- Liaising closely with the workshop and technicians regarding vehicle progress
- Keeping customers updated throughout the service process
- Upselling additional products and services where appropriate
- Preparing job cards, invoices, and related administration
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
- Ensuring excellent CSI and customer satisfaction levels are maintained
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy dealership environment
- Upselling experience advantageous
- Full UK driving licence required
