As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you don't need to have previous experience, you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team, making sure every patient receives the best care in our stores.
Our store
The Specsavers Chepstow store is a busy, customer-focused optical and audiology practice committed to delivering outstanding clinical care and exceptional service to the local community. Situated in the heart of Chepstow town centre, the store benefits from excellent transport links, making it easily accessible for both customers and colleagues. The location is well-served by local bus routes and is within convenient walking distance of the train station, providing straightforward connections to surrounding areas. The store offers a wide range of optical and hearing services, including eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and hearing assessments, supported by modern equipment and a knowledgeable, friendly team.
Our team
The team at Specsavers Chepstow is a supportive, close-knit group of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer care. Made up of experienced optical and audiology colleagues, from clinicians to retail assistants, the team works collaboratively to ensure every customer receives expert advice and a positive in-store experience. Management in store are highly committed to supporting colleagues with their development, actively encouraging progression and providing opportunities for training and career growth within the business. The friendly and inclusive culture creates an environment where teamwork is valued, successes are shared, and everyone plays a key role in maintaining the store's high standards of service and clinical excellence.

- Full Time – 37.5 hours per week, to include working Saturdays
