Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Shift: Monday – Friday | 08:00 – 16:00
Salary: £13.71 per hour
Responsive Personnel are looking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Overview:
- Receiving, unloading, and checking incoming deliveries
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate stock records and reporting discrepancies
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks (if trained)
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory control
- Following company procedures and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
