Remedy Education is currently recruiting Daily Supply Teaching Assistants to support Special Educational Needs (SEN) pupils across East London, particularly Newham and Tower Hamlets, as well as Barking & Dagenham, Redbridge and surrounding boroughs.
This role is ideal for university students, graduates, or individuals looking for flexible work in education, with opportunities to gain valuable experience supporting children with additional needs.
Daily supply means stepping in to support schools when staff are absent due to sickness, training, or other short-term needs – helping ensure pupils continue to receive the support they require.
The Role

Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups with needs such as Autism, ADHD and SEMH

Helping pupils develop life skills, emotional regulation and engagement with learning

Working across primary and secondary schools

Being adaptable and confident in different school environments

Building positive relationships with staff and pupils

Hours: 8:00 / 8:30 AM – 3:30 / 4:00 PM

Location: Newham and surrounding East London boroughs

Pay: £90 – £100 per day

Age Range: 5 – 19 years

Needs Supported: Autism, ADHD, SEMH, life skills support, 1:1 and small group work

Experience: All levels welcome – training and guidance provided
