Teaching Assistant – KS1 Support – Part-Time – Tottenham, North London
A friendly and supportive Primary School in Tottenham, North London is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team on a part-time basis, working Monday to Wednesday each week.
This Teaching Assistant role is available for an ASAP start and is expected to continue into the September 2026 academic year, providing excellent stability for the successful candidate.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils in KS1 through phonics interventions, small group activities, and targeted 1:1 support. The school is looking for a proactive Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships with pupils and help them achieve their learning goals.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
- Delivering phonics interventions as a Teaching Assistant
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis as a Teaching Assistant
- Leading small group learning activities as a Teaching Assistant
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery as a Teaching Assistant
- Supporting pupils' academic and social development as a Teaching Assistant
- Helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment as a Teaching Assistant
