History Teacher (Full-Time) – Secondary School

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Lytham St Annes on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking department.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Manage behaviour effectively, maintaining high expectations at all times
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Strong subject knowledge in History
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for education and a commitment to student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
