This full-time position offers comprehensive training and support for professional development.
The Role:
As a Technical Repair Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to the repair process of claims. Your main duties will include:
- Instructing repairers on new and existing claims.
- Allocating vehicles to appropriate repairers or finding alternatives if needed.
- Authorising estimates within set limits and escalating those exceeding limits to Engineers.
- Processing estimates, supplementary estimates, and invoices.
- Liaising with Engineers, Repairers, and Insurers for updates.
- Providing updates to Trusts, Scheme members, and Drivers on repair progress.
- Reviewing end-of-lease charges.
- Supporting assigned handlers with repair actions.
- Updating claim status and records.
- Undertaking diary chasing.
- Handling incoming calls to the department.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and possess the following:
Experience:
- Previous office skills are an advantage although candidates with a good education and customer service experience will be considered.
Qualifications:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths is essential.
Skills:
- Great customer service skills
- A confident telephone manner.
- High-level interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to follow set procedures meticulously.
- Computer literate with good computer and keyboard skills.
- Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills.
- A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to new practices.
Office based Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
