The Hathershaw College is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join their ambitious and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who is committed to inspiring a love of languages and raising achievement for all students.

About the Role

You will:

  • Teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge learners of all abilities.

  • Contribute to curriculum development within the MFL department.

  • Play an active role in enrichment activities, trips, and wider college life.

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs who are eager to develop their practice within a strong and collaborative department.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (or be working towards it).

  • Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for French language and culture.

  • Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student progress.

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
