The Payroll Administrator will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processes within the not-for-profit sector. This temporary position in Bradford requires a detail-oriented individual to support the Accounting & Finance department effectively.

Description

  • Process payroll transactions accurately and within deadlines, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records, including employee details, tax information, and payment histories.
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Assist with resolving discrepancies in payroll and liaise with relevant departments as needed.
  • Prepare and submit statutory payroll returns and reports as required.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance team with payroll reconciliations and audits.
  • Ensure adherence to confidentiality and data protection standards at all times.
  • Contribute to the improvement of payroll processes and systems within the organisation.

Profile

A successful Payroll Administrator should have:

  • Previous experience in payroll administration within an Accounting & Finance environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant UK legislation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Offer
