Description
- Process payroll transactions accurately and within deadlines, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain payroll records, including employee details, tax information, and payment histories.
- Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Assist with resolving discrepancies in payroll and liaise with relevant departments as needed.
- Prepare and submit statutory payroll returns and reports as required.
- Support the Accounting & Finance team with payroll reconciliations and audits.
- Ensure adherence to confidentiality and data protection standards at all times.
- Contribute to the improvement of payroll processes and systems within the organisation.
Profile
A successful Payroll Administrator should have:
- Previous experience in payroll administration within an Accounting & Finance environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant UK legislation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Offer
- Competitive daily rate between £135 and £165 (GBP).
