Elevation People & HR are working with a manufacturing business in Leeds to recruit a HR Advisor with a strong emphasis on generalist HR and Employee Relations, for a fixed term contract of 4-5 months on a part time basis.
Whilst site-based, the business offers flexibility for project work with the possibility of working from home up to 1 day per week.
Supporting a busy operational environment, you will provide practical HR advice to managers and take ownership of a range of employee relations matters.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- ER case management including absence, disciplinary, grievance and capability cases
- Supporting change activity, HR policies and wider people projects
- Coaching and guiding managers on HR best practice and employment law
- Working collaboratively as part of a wider HR and cross-functional team
- Day to day management and maintenance of the HR inbox and systems
We are keen to speak to candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience in a HR Advisor or generalist HR role
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations
- Confident managing ER casework independently
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing / operational environment
- Experienced in HR systems
- Qualified CIPD Level 3 – 5 if not working towards
