1:1 Nursery Assistant – Bridgend | September 2026 Start
Are you an experienced 1:1 Nursery Assistant looking for a rewarding 1:1 role from September 2026?
We are currently recruiting a caring and dedicated Nursery Assistant to support a pupil on a one-to-one basis within a welcoming Nursery setting in a Primary School in Bridgend. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a child's early development while working in a supportive and nurturing environment.
The successful candidate will have experience working within an Early Years setting and be confident supporting children with their learning, development, and personal care where required.
What We Offer
- Full-time, long-term 1:1 role from September 2026
- Competitive pay from £94 per day, with higher rates depending on experience, qualifications, and client rates
- Support from a dedicated education consultant

We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or within an Early Years environment
- A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
- Confidence supporting children's learning, development, and personal care where required
- A relevant childcare or education qualification is desirable
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (or willingness to register)
- Completion of safeguarding training and compliance checks
- Right to work in the UK
