How this calculator works
This calculator adds your daily travel cost and any daily extras such as parking, tolls or other commute costs. It then multiplies the daily cost by your commute days per week and weeks worked per year.
The monthly cost is calculated by dividing the annual commute cost by 12. If you enter your annual salary or income, the calculator also estimates your commute cost as a percentage of your yearly income.
