1:1 Teaching Assistant – South Birmingham Primary School
Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in South Birmingham to recruit a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a long-term position starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supporting a pupil on a one-to-one basis, helping them access learning and develop both academically and socially.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
- Promote positive behaviour and inclusion
- Support the child's emotional and social development
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children in a primary setting
- Confident supporting pupils with SEN (experience desirable)
- Patient, nurturing and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
