The Role – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to a Year 4 pupil with ADHD, helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop both academically and socially. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will deliver personalised support, implement tailored strategies, and encourage the pupil's independence throughout the school day. The successful candidate will be patient, adaptable, and committed to creating a positive learning experience for children with complex needs. Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN is essential.

Located in Haringey, this welcoming primary school is a 5 minute walk from the nearest train station and caters for pupils aged 3-11. The school provides a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported to succeed. Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils with SEN, including ASD and ADHD, receive the support they need. The school places a strong focus on inclusion, wellbeing, and achievement and has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
