Driver Hire Southampton
Driver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting for a reliable and professional 7.5T Driver to join one of our well-established clients based in the Southampton area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the healthcare logistics sector, delivering and collecting sterile surgical equipment to hospitals across the South Coast. Newly qualified drivers are welcome, with full training provided by our client.
The Role:
- Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays available
- Start time: 2:00pm, finishing approximately 10:00pm
- Driving a 7.5T (C1) vehicle
- Completing 2-4 deliveries/collections per shift
- Long-distance driving across the South Coast
- Operating a tail lift
- Delivering and collecting sterile/disinfected surgical tools on trolleys
- Ensuring all paperwork and records are accurately completed
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK 7.5T (C1) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards
- Comfortable with manual handling duties
- Previous tail lift experience preferred, but not essential
- Good understanding of tachograph regulations
- Reliable, professional, and happy working evening shifts
- Strong attention to detail when completing documentation
