Role: Account Manager
Location: Brighton / Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)
Hours: Full-time, 36.25 hours per week
Pay: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum + uncapped commission (OTE up to £42 – 45k)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, a leading educational travel organisation, based in Brighton.
This role is focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience, managing existing school relationships and driving both customer retention and business growth across an assigned region.

The Requirements:
- Previous account management, sales or customer relationship management experience
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational and administration abilities
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Strong listening skills and customer-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable visiting schools, attending events and occasional travel where required
- Enhanced DBS check required
The Role:
- Manage a portfolio of school customers and act as their primary point of contact
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the sales and booking process
- Achieve and exceed retention, revenue and growth targets
- Develop strong long-term relationships with schools and educational groups
- Conduct school visits, parent evenings and customer meetings
- Create tailored travel proposals that meet customer requirements
- Monitor margins, payment status and competitor activity
- Maintain accurate CRM and reservation system records
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve products, itineraries and customer experience
- Identify opportunities for referrals, recommendations and repeat business
