Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to report to the Business Development Lead-Commercial and support strategic accounts by contributing to account plans, identifying growth opportunities, and coordinating service delivery to ensure a consistent, market-leading customer experience.

Account Manager Requirements

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of small to medium-sized client accounts, ensuring strong relationships, high levels of customer satisfaction, and the delivery of commercial value. The role focuses on maximising revenue within existing accounts by identifying opportunities to expand services, increase adoption, and deliver additional value aligned to client needs. This position requires a full UK driving license and the capability to act as an ambassador for Biogen, upholding our brand and environmental values.

Biogen is the UK’s leader in anaerobic digestion (AD) and one of the largest independent AD operators in the UK. Having expanded its food waste recycling network through acquisition, it has a combined network of nineteen AD plants located across England, Scotland and Wales. These facilities provide cost-effective, low-carbon solutions for managing food and organic waste, transforming it into renewable energy.

Through its work with supermarkets, the hospitality industry, food manufacturers, and local authorities across the UK, Biogen’s AD sites recycle over half a million tonnes of food waste each year, converting it into renewable energy and nutrient-rich biofertiliser. This process contributes to a cleaner environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and lowering reliance on fossil fuels. Location Head Office, Milton Parc (with regular UK Travel) Job Type:         Full time, permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday Salary:               up to £48,000 pa dependent on experience Benefits:            25 days holiday + bank holidays, 4% employer pension and x4 life  assurance, car allowance or company car
