A growing food manufacturing business is looking to appoint an Account Manager to join its Commercial team.
Working at the heart of the business, you will become the key link between customers and internal departments, ensuring projects remain on track, communication is proactive, and customers receive an exceptional service from order through to delivery.
Working closely with Commercial, Planning, Production, Procurement, Quality and Logistics, you will play a vital role in coordinating customer requirements, managing expectations, and ensuring internal teams are aligned to deliver on time and in full.
This is a commercially focused, customer-facing role offering the opportunity to build long-term relationships, influence cross-functional collaboration, and play a key part in the continued growth of the business.
What You'll Be Doing
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer communication, enquiries and account management • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and review meetings • Coordinate customer projects across multiple internal departments to ensure successful delivery • Manage customer expectations by providing accurate updates on orders, timelines and project progress • Monitor risks, manage escalations, and work with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently • Work closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality and Logistics to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full • Support Sales and Account Managers to ensure a consistent customer experience across all accounts • Relay customer forecasts, scheduling requirements and commercial updates to support production planning • Support quotations, pricing activities and NPD projects where required • Monitor customer KPIs, account performance and service levels, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement • Drive collaboration, accountability and effective communication across internal teams

Your Background
• Experience within Account Management, Customer Service, Customer Operations or a similar customer-facing commercial role • Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar manufacturing environment • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills • Experience coordinating multiple projects and priorities simultaneously • Comfortable working cross-functionally with operational and commercial teams • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail • Confident using Excel and business systems • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication skills
